Batch Data Transfer

Hi there,

I have a portable bar code data scanner. I would like to import the data through COM1 on my PC in batch mode:

1- User would start a batch file on the PC
2- User would start the transmit option on the bar code unit.
3- Batch program would accept data from the bar code unit and create a file.
4- Batch program would terminate automatically.

I am able to load data through Hyperterminal but there is too much intervention needed from the user.

Does anyone know of such a batch program?
