I am looking for some barcode software that will intergrate with a scanner. It should imprint the barcode onto the document scanned. Something like Bates Stamping that is used in the legal industry.
Franklin, it is in Barcoding Forum. No response.
Wasisnt, I need more than Twain compliant software or ordinary scanning capabilities. I need the software to imprint a barcode onto scanned documents. Much like a fax stamp or as mentioned, Bates stamping.
I disagree. You have to have a barcode scanner and that can be hardware.
Here is an interesting site I found in 0.5 minutes. They sell the stuff, so maybe they have some links or some ideas you like. I do not do business with barcode scanners so I have no idea if they are any good.
Maybe another post might help. I worked at an ammunition factory where we used barcodes for inventory. All the job codes had a barcode on them so we could use that to enter the barcode for our daily production line inventories. Basically we had 3 different things. We had a barcode printer that printed labels. We had a hand held device for doing inventory, and then the foreman was uploading the info to a PC to record the inventory.
I dont know what we used there, but it seemed to work.
