Balun G703

I'm connecting cables from my Siemens multiplexer to a router via a G703 balun panel and I'm not getting the bandwidth that I should be. Somewhere along the line I'm getting losses - is anyone out there familiar with impedance matching and baluns?

Hi, I have found the quality of manufacture and materials used has a significant bearing on your end results and performance. Unfortunately many people in our industry believe saving a few pence will not make a difference when specification is everything. It could be the balun or may be even the cable? I would check both.
