I have had this odd happening when I start the computer.
Sometimes when I press the start button on the computer the led comes on briefly and then nothing happens. If I press it again nothing happens, no led light, nothing.
As this has happened enough times I have noticed that opening the case I see on the motherboard a little green light being on. If I unplug the main power cord and wait several seconds the little green light goes out, then I proceed to plug the cord back, immediatelly the little green light goes on again, after this I press the Start button and the computer boots up perfectly.
This happens about 10% of the time and I have it patdown that when it occurs I unplug the main cord (the power supply does not have an on/off switch), wait several seconds, plug it back in and press the start button and everything is OK.
But if you guys have an idea that will help, I'll appreciate it.
The motherboard is an Intel D850MV -WinXP Pro - P4 2.2GHz - 425Watts PSupply
