BackupExec 10 Problem

Hi,

Am running BackupExec 10 with a HP 6030 model LTO2 Library.

I am getting some serious performance issues with this setup.

The main one at the moment is that I am cataloging a tape with approx 350GB on it....it has done 147GB or it......In 14 hours.

Is it me or is that a little slow?

Any ideas?

Make sure you have the latest Veritas Drivers for the tape Device. If its SCSI connection try different drivers or updated drivers for the scsi card. What kind of backup[ rates do you get?. Sound like you doing a long catalog which can take as long as the backup job.
