hi all
if i want to uninstall AD, is there anyway to backup user accounts??
or i must make an additional Domain Controller , then bring them back??

Thank you

The only way to back up AD (which would include user accounts) is to do a system state backup. This would need to be done before you remove AD obviously.

Restoring a system state backup to a different machine is tricky at best. If you are restoring a system state backup to different hardware it is only supported by Microsoft if it is critical to the firm and there are no other options.

In other words, we wont support trying to restore a system state to different hardware when you have other DCs available.
