Hi, just soliciting the Tek-Tips community to see what software you use for backups on your 2003 servers, our client wants and encryption solution and the ones I'm currently weighing for them are Symantec NetBackup and CA BrightStor ArcServe. I've used both in the past and don't care for either but they seem to be one of the few I've come accross that offer encrypted backups since data security is so paramount these days, should a set of backup tapes ever fall into the wrong hands we want assurance of an encrypted backup.

There is Veritas, but I can't find if Backup Exec is covered with the data encryption. Just trying to find the cheapest backup solution for you (Veritas Netbackup has this functionality, but is rather pricy).
