I would like to start backup my data and would like to know how others accomplish this. I have a simple computer.nothing fancy. I don't want to wait till something happens like a crash.

Thanks..RR

Hi,
I only backup my created files since I have disks for everything else and could reload if necessary. For this purpose, I copy the "My Documents" folder to an RW disk in CD drive. Since it holds 700MB, I have always been able to fit everything on a single disk - although it takes a little while to accomplish this so I do it at the end of the day.

I'm sure there are others ways to do this, but this one works well enough for me.

HTH,

Best,
Blue Horizon [2thumbsup]

Thanks, simple but that's probably what I need.
