Backup of Exchange 5.5 on Server 2003, Backup Exec 9.1

I have set up a new Backup Exec 9.1 environment on a new Windows Server 2003 machine and it's working great. However the notes say that when I install the Exchange agent, I also have to install the Exchange admin console.
I still have Exchange 5.5, and cannot install this console on server 2003 as it's not compatable. How can I get around this problem? I don't have Exchange 2003....... Any help much appreciated.

You don't need to install the Exchange admin when using BE 9.1.

Not even if you want to back up mailboxes at the brick level?

I have a similar problem, only we are using BE v10.
