Okay I have recently been tasked with becoming the MAC support at my office, being a windows guy this is new territory for me. Here is what i'm thinking of doing to insure we have good up to date backups of everything.
They are doing image and video editing so we need lots of space.
1TB drive to be the os/program/boot drive
1TB to mirror this drive with Superduper daily full's
1TB to be the data drive
1.5-2TB(haven't decided yet) to be a timemachine backup of the data drive.
Then I'll use superduper to backup the data drive to a backup image file on our windows server.
Can anyone think of any problems with this, any nono's i'm doing, problems with the programs etc. I was also thinking of limiting the os/program/boot drive to about 800GB and on the mirror setup a cache drive of 200GB.
