Backup job to span over 1 or more tapes

Hello,

I want to create a backup job that does not stop after the first tape is full. I have Arcserve 2000 installed on a server connected to A HP DAT Autoloader, 6 tape magazine.

I have installed the tape library option, and all the tapes are recogonised etc.

Can anyone give me a few steps on how to create a job that will backup over more than one tape. I have tried creating pools etc, (are they needed)??

HI,

Check the foll:
Modify the job
On the Backup Manager...
Go the destination tab
Check if the the "device" group is selected.
If you have submitted a job specific to a media.. the job might not span over..
