Backup Exec 9.1 for Netware and Backup-To-Disk

Good Afternoon Fellow Techies I need a bit of a hand. This morning I came in and both of my tapes drives horked, and died. I have figured out how to backup to disk. It's working very well until I get my new tape drives.

My question is those of you who use the backup to disk function as your primary backup method how do you do periodic archives (like say month end) or something like that. I would like to backup to disk monday - friday but then blow it to tape on saturday nights. is there a way to blow the backup to disk stuff to tape and actually have it work?

any insight you all can provide to me will be much appreciated.

only used it in emergency - be weary as it defaults to sys be default - nasty place to default

the only backs up as one file so can see any reason why you cant just backup the backup path - then if you need to restore you would first need to restore the file and then restore from the file
