OFO: Initialization failure on: "\\SERVER\C:". Advanced Open File Option used: Veritas Volume Snapshot Provider (VSP).

OFO: Backup Exec cannot communicate with the Advanced Open File Option component selected. If you just installed this option, reboot the computer that the option is running on, or try reinstalling the option.

Note: The Advanced Open File Option did not perform a snapshot of all volumes simultaneously.

The reboot did not work and i want to work around the reinstallation.

Any suggestions?

Try a backup of each partition in a separate job. Sometimes the OFO will not be able to create correctly if there are too many partitions in a job. The OFO tries to create a cache for all of the partitions and may run out of room or time to finish correctly.

If it's a Windows 2003 you can choose the "Microsoft VSS" Technologie... otherwise, check the answer from "PBurcin
