Hello,

I have a problem with Backup Exec and an IBM TS3100 Autoloader. The Connection is established via SCSI.

The Operating System is Windows 2003 Server SP1.

The Problem:
Backup Exec only finds the drive not the Autoloader itself? When i try to make an inventory or to eject the drive, nothing happens.

In Windows under "Device Manager" there is also only the Tape available but not the autoloader?
Does anybody expierenced the same Problem or does someone has a answer??

Any help would be appreciatet.
Thanks in advance and Kind regards

The latest Device Driver Installer was also added to Backup Exec and he also supports the IBM TS3100 Autoloader.

Regards

He Supports but the problem still persists.
only the drive is available

I forgot to mention.

the problem was solved by myself. It was the SCSI Controller. He was incompatible with the IBM TS3100 Autoloader.
After swaping the Controller to an Adaptec 29160 everything works fine.
