relatively simple ?,
just wondering how i can make a complete copy of my hardrive in win xp. iow, suppose something wrong occurs, i want to be able to recover from it.

this is a trivial ?, but i am new to microsoft products...

I never store anything important on my C:

What I do is have my computer partitioned like

C: Windows (NTFS)
D: Ghost Backup
E: Files (FAT32)

If the C: drive gets plagued by a virus, malware, or spyware.
All I need to do is open up the ghost image on D: and rewrite partition C:

The OS is back to its original state before Ghost backup. None of your personal files get lost.

Total running time for a 7GB OS image is 15 minutes.
