Have a problem with one backup system... They have about 40 gigs of data and needs to be backed up every night. Trying to backup to 200 gig external hard drives.

NT backup worked fine for a couple of months and then crashed... Nobody has been looking at the server for a while so they didn't know the backup crashed til today. wouldn't you know it, they needed to recover a couple of important files after a slip of the mouse...

The problem is, NT backup keeps crashing on the backup.

Is there any other backup system out there I can try, needs to be small and quick...

Thanks.

Hey karmic,
U can try out IBAC data protection software from It backs up data in native format and also installation is pretty easy. They dont any agents for sql, exchange etc..they need only one agent for open file backup. This mite be a good option for u.
