We have a user who is being set up for another laptop computer. He wants to have his Palm desktop data saved, and available on the new computer. Can this be done by backing up the data from the old computer to the PDA, and then hook it up to the new computer and restore?
The connection is through wire.
I don't use any of these PDAs/BBs, and just learning.

Thanks in advance

Not sure, but I will find out what device he is using.

Thanks,

This user was away and was just back. The PDA is IBM Workpad c3. Can the PDA be connected to the new laptop without the software and transfer the data into the laptop?

Thanks
