I've got a 6509 running 5.5(16).

Is the "configuration" the only one? Like with IOS, you have a running-config and startup-config. With CATos, how do I ensure that if the switch needs to be reloaded, that it'll boot with the right configuration?

Hi

With CatOS any config changes you make are saved as you make them, so any 'set' or 'clear' goes into the config straight away.

If you do a 'show config' you see the current state, and that is what is loaded as the switch boots.

I guess it is possible (?) to save other configs under different filenames, but the one called 'config' is the one that is used.
