background tiling in 1 cell but not another

I want a background in one cell to tile.Then it gives a whole column a certain look. But in another cell I have an image that only wants to tile once. How can I make the code only affect one cell or set of cells but not another- is it possible?

Depending on where you put your background=&quot;&quot; tag. If you put it in your <TD> it will only affect that cell.
