We have a background terminal set up that displays when we program a wakeup call and it displays if the call was answered or not answered. Is there a way we can have the terminal display a date periodically or any time there is a wakeup call occurrance? When we look at the log we can't really tell definately what day the calls were made or programmed. Thanks for any help.

Nortel does have a CDR, but we output that to a CDR reporting system called TAPIT so we have a report format of when calls were placed.

The system should report when the wake up call is placed. Here is the situation I had when I worked a large hotel.

The terminal was used to monitor what wakeup calls were placed/entered by the user from their room. We could also enter the wakeup calls over the console and in ther terminal with the command line prompts.

Sometime during the evening, the attendants would run the report to print out all the wakeup calls that were entered and then those were cross referenced when the calls were placed. If the caller did not answer the phone the system would display on the terminal that the wake up call failed.

You can do all of this from your terminal. If you look in the Hospitality guide it will show you how to do all of this from your terminal.

I don't have my guides with me so I can't let you know what commands to type into your terminal, but if I remember I will post later.

Great help thanks. What I ended up doing was setting up the terminal emulation software to display a date on each line printed to the log it creates. The hospitality manual will be very helpful. Thanks again.
