Background problems

Hi,

I am working with MFC.

lets say I have an application in th background, and using a timer, the application gets the handle of the active thread (just to make sure, How can I do this).


my problem is that the display doesn't take place on screen untill the background application receives the focus (and then it is in the foreground and the whole purpose is lost.
