Is there a way with Javascript to fade the backround from one color to another?

Well you could easily just cycle through a bunch of colors, but there is probably an effect out there, I know there is one for fading between images - it is a filter, which is itself a style property, but IE only of course.

Oh well. Thanks for the advice anyway, it's not really that crucial, just an idea i had.
