Back up too slow -- HELP!!!!

we have just upgraded from ARCserve2000 to BrightStor v11.1 lately. The backup speed is too slow with the newer version. The speed now is about 5.78 MB/min. The speed before upgrading was about 60 MB/min. The speed has dropped about 90%. We are backing up the same database with about same size. The tape drive is HP storageWorks DLT VS80.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Is this backing up a remote computer? If so, are you using the Windows client agent?

No, we are backup a local server. the tape drive, backup software and data are on the same system.

Try installing SP1 for 11.1
