I've spotted long-awaited BAB 11 for Linux is out. I am very interested in some of its features, primarily, in backup staging via disc library.

Strangely enough, the test drive is not available yet, only version 9 shows up in the list of downloads.

Did anybody manage to get hold of this new version, by chance?

I am very close to get it, but still cannot match the proper name (file listing is denied for anonymous FTP):

ftp://ftp.ca.com/priv/trial/BABr11/BABr111Linux/

Well, will try to get in touch with CA rep first thing Monday morning...

PS. I see the reason why it's not available: it has been uploaded just a few days ago.

I've got a reply, saying BAB for Linux is expected to be released today.

Here we go: ftp://ftp.ca.com/priv/trial/BABr11/temp/BAB%20Linux%20r111.zip

I'm on s/w maintenance for Arcserve on Linux and just got an e-mail indicating that an upgrade to V11 is shipping to me today. I'll try and post how my install goes. I will probably just opt for a fresh install, my current install of V9 died a month ago and only a fresh install of V9 appeared stable.

I hope V11 is more stable, with V9 it seemed I couldn't go for more than six months without an Ingress database becoming corrupted or a process being unable to start.
