I have an option 81C that has 2 pri's that connected to Ciscio router for VOIP. I have some CDP nubers that are pointed to those 2 PRI,s. I have users compklaing about fast busy when Dialing those CDPed numbers. Is there a way to trace in load 80 those specific CDP numbers to make sure that are being used.
Thanks for your help

not in 80, you can print the rlb's to see where they are pointed.. ld 87 prt cdp type is either dsc tsc lsc.. then the number your looking up.. but remember.. i send all my 1800 numbers (1800-1899) with a single entey.. dsc 18, that points to a rli.. then in 86 prt rlb to see if it's pointed to the correct route... here's a better dynamic trace

ld 60
entc 4 0 0 0 0100

now dial the dsc from that tn.. that is a one hour trace, and can be up to 23:59..

johnpoole,
Thanks for your help. I am new at this I have read your explanation and I have a question on how to dial the DSC(EX 6097) to a specific TN. I have loop57 with RLI 13 and route 41.
The second question can you found out if a specific CDP number is being used at any time?.
Thanks
Again for your help

joeban,

Is the problem associated with internal calls to the route or external calls. I ran into a similar problem, but mine was that internal calls went fine, but DID calls would get hosed(first call would go through and then fast busy for the next few calls). If this is the case, then print out your CDB in LD 21 and under Net_Data look at the FOPT prompt. If it is set to 14 or 15, then change it to 0 and see if that fixes the issue. This is a prompt that keeps calls from being forwarded in mas to another switch over tie lines. Hope this helps.

no you can't tell if someone dialed the number.. but you can tell if it's added to your switch as a cdp entry..

a dsc just tells the call where to go, it can not be busy.. i have one dsc 18 for 100 numbers.. you can dial 1800 thrn 1899 forever, the far end will give you a busy but not the dsc...
