Hi There,

I have a Aztech DSL Turbo 900 ER router which recently dead. The problem happened right after I stopped a DSL Commander quit progress (By press Ctrl+Alt+Del on my PC and choose "End Task") . It was working fine, but now when I power it on, only Power and Ethernet Act LEDs on, and it will just stay like that, goes no further.:-(

I think it might because the firmware crashed due to the unexpected end of the Commander software. When I try to connect it throgh serial console, it says that the Flash Boot fault. Just wondering if I can do something to make it works again? Anybody here knows how to reprogramming this modem?

My current firmware version is 3.2.11, and it was 3.18D, the FCC Reg is: 4J2SNG-35326-DL-N.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks in advance!

Look for a small hole on the router which you can put a paper clip into. This may be the reset switch. Hold for 30 sec's while the router is on with no connections present. You should also reset the modem and uninstal and reinstall software.
1. unistall software
2. reset both devices
3. reinstall software.
Let everything that have breath praise the Lord.

No Mate, it's not that easy at all:(
There is no such a reset switch i can press, now i can goes into the serial console only, and the message i got is:
no or bad ATMOS image, boot faild...

What has tech supportsaid.they should be called on this one. there should be a reset for the router. Let everything that have breath praise the Lord.

After several emails about this matter, they still haven't give me any single respond yet:(.
I understand ur saying, but the problem now is not about reset the firmwire settings, is about that the firmware is crashed completely, I need reinstall the fireware.

Thanks

Hunter
