Hello
I have created several .avi's for use in my director movie using a Microsoft MPEG 4 Video Codec V1 in Premiere. When I attempt to play them, a window opens displaying this message "Video not available, cannot find 'vids:MPG4' decompressor." The audio (uncompressed by Premiere) plays fine while that window is displayed.
My question is: Is there an Xtra I can add to meet this requirement and allow me to decompress this movie? Space is a huge issue here and this Codec is working the best at reducing the size of my video files. The file plays fine outside of Director but I have encountered the same problems with other files in Authorware. Size wasn't an issue there as it is here so I was able to work around it then.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
Chris
