I've having some problems with my AVGADMIN showing inaccurate information about the status of some client stations. Specifically with respect to the 'inaccurate station' report: it is showing a client as having 10 infected files, however, the client's scan results show no infected files.

The chain of events went like this:

1. AVGADMIN identified a client station as having 4 infect files.
2. I physically went to the machine and did a full scan and found 2 infected files.
3. I deleted the files.
4. I rescanned the station and found the infected files again in the recycle bin, and deleted them from there.
5. I rescanned the station and found it to be clean.
6. I did a data sync with AVGADMIN and the 'infected' station and AVGADMIN now shows 10 infected files.

What is going on? Why is it showing so many infections? How to a reset the status?

Just in case anyone else runs into this problem, here's the solution:

Within the 'Quick Reports' section you need to go to the 'Scan Results' view, select all the scan results from the affected computer and right click -> 'Take in account'

This will update the quick reports with the results from the selected scan.

If anyone knows how to get this to happen automatically, please post! :)
