How does everyone tackle their AVG administration on their LAN? I have a 20 user Internet Security installed but I get the feeling I am not using it in the most efficient manner!

It does a scan every day on all the workstations and every day it reports back "infections" which are little more than tracking cookies. I can't easily tell from AVG Admin whether the infection is a cookie or an actual virus until I double click the workstation to get the Complete Test details. For a single administrator with a lot of other jobs, it is a pain to do every day for 20 workstations and I'm thinking it can't be right to be doing it this way [3eyes]. Any tips?

Thanks

Dan

Hi Daniel,

You can instruct AVG at a client level, or at the administration level, to ignore cookies if you choose.

Are you in the UK or US? If UK, check out avguk.com -- they will take great care of you in that region sales and support wise.

If you are not getting the answer you need otherwise, feel free to contact me directly I will get one of my techs together with you to sort everything out.

Thanks.
