AVAYA SMDR - LIVE CALLER ID LOGGING

Hi guys,

Our system: Avaya IP Office 500 V2 Version 10.0

I know I could use the SMDR output + a 3rd company to get the call logs.
But I want a way to see the LIVE incoming calls. A live log of an incoming caller (while the phone is ringing).

Is this possible?? It was possible on the Vantage phone system.

So build a CTI application, that would do what you're trying to accomplish.
You can either use TAPI/Devlink or in 10.1 you have CTI Web Services.
It's documented on Devconnect.

Where did they come from!? Absolutely nothing mentioned about a bunch of programmers and an existing 3rd-party application and what you actually want to do with the data until 12 replies in, 4 days later and your 6th post.

Big jump from "I want a way to see the LIVE incoming calls" with using a 3rd-party application.

If you'd said what you actually wanted in post one on day one you would have been directed immediately to any of the API outputs from IP Office starting from TAPI upwards:

Hope your programmers are a bit smarter than you when it comes to asking questions.
