Avaya SIP School

Hello all,

I received this link:

recently and makes me wonder if it is a legitimate, Avaya endorsed/recognized training site. It offers training on SIP plus a certification. It looks pretty good and the cost is reasonable. It displays Avaya and other vendors on its web page but like everything else on line, one must be cautious.

That said, has any of you folks seen it, tried it and if so, would you recommend it? Is there a way to contact Avaya direct to verify its validity? Thanks all.

hey Moose..yes it is legitimate. its also a good course..covers NAT, firewalls, sip messaging and more. the price even comes with 3 attempts on the online test. Careful, its a hard test and it took me every bit of 3 attempts to pass best of luck...

Thanks Alfredo, I think I'll try it. I know the test is going to be difficult, especially for a guy like me with limited SIP experience. How long did it take you to complete the training, and, is the price listed on the web page the total cost for all modules? Thanks.

i completed it within a month. My work was pressing on me for the cert which helped. I really think it can be done in a matter of 2 focused weekends. i wasnt that focused the first couple of weeks . Yes get the package for 450 and it will include 3 test attempts.
