is there a way to create new admin users in session manager instead "useradd" as root ? I need to create few users but dont have root password...

I also found that this "SMnetSetup" utility can create users, and I believe this only works during installation...

I have to ask why do you need extra users ,. Other than the ones already assigned as default ? On later builds the cust user can perform pretty much all you need , if you are having to ask (no offense here) about SMNetsetup you should probably be staying away from this utility.

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

No there isn't, and I agree it's stupid.

1 account only. Avaya will tell you the 'right' answer is to do everything from system manager where you can have those controls per user, but tracing in SMGR vs traceSM is painful.

I have to create a user same as "cust" for BP.

and a breach of PCI/DSS requirements (use of "generic" log on accounts). Of course, this doesn't apply to all use cases.

However, getting a root access account on Session Manager is a trivial matter and I'll leave it to the reader to figure out how to do it.

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
