Avaya one-X Mobile IPO - Play voicemail message not working

Whenever a user tries to listen to a voicemail message on the one-X Mobile app on an iPhone, it will not play any of the messages. The round timer icon just appears and spins endlessly. It does allow you to delete the messages but just not listen to them.

I have verified its not a firewall rule issue by connecting directly to the same network as the IPO, could it be a configuration problem in one-X administration? I set the proper IP address in the Default-VMPro-Provider for the VMPro server and the standard web client works fine.

I have the latest version of all software;
Avaya IP Office 9.0.3.16.2 (IP500 v2)
Voicemail Pro 9.0.300.212
one-X Portal 9.0.300.941 (Windows 2008 R2)

I have also tried a full reinstall of one-X portal from scratch as well as tried the Avaya Application Server linux installation (with a fresh VMPro and one-X) with the same result.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Chris

I commented on something similar here:
My fix involved a packet capture and watching what happened between 1XP and VMPro, but that's on top of everything else you need to get setup. Does it work in the office on Wifi but not outside? Can you access just VMPro via the web interface and listen to messages there? Those are good first steps to try and isolate where the hiccup is.

Thanks for helping me get my mind going in the right direction! It was actually due to not having Web Voicemail installed on the VMPro server. It also seems you have to make some additional manual tweaks to even get that option to install when doing a full installation. I found this link which helped me get this working;

This was a very helpful article and fixed my issue.

Thank you!
