Hello

Des anybody know if Avaya one-X communicator(PC Version) will work with an IP office System that has a UC110 module installed.

The one-X portal on the UC110 works, I can log in and make calls, I can also connect the one-X mobile client on my android phone.

Does the Avaya one-X communicator(PC Version) require a separate Avaya communication manager or can I configure it to work with my UC110 module.

Thanks

It's a softphone, nothing to do with One X portal really, and it isn't dependant on a specific type of voicemail as such.
I don't understand Avaya's obsession with labelling several different products that are not related with the same branding "One X", it just causes confusion and frustration :)

See confused myself there, the IP Office version is "Flare" soon to be called Avaya Communicator, One X communicator is CM/Aura I believe. :)

Hi amriddle01

Thank you for your response, I am beginning to think one-X communicator will only work with Aura and CM.

I presume Flare will connect directly with IPO, would this then logout the phone when a user connects with the same credentials, is there any desktop software that will work directly with the one-X portal much like the one-x mobile, when using the one-x mobile client both the phone and mobile client will work independently.

Thanks

Hi amriddle01

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, I downloaded Flare and all is working now.
