Hello Experts!!!!

Pls let me know how can we save the configuration of media gateway (G350,G450 etc...). i have 200 media gateway.

Can i make a script to save all configuration with one click ?

or from the Communication manager " Integrated management -Site administration 6.0 -Version 6.0.07. ".

Thanks...
Amjed....

you need to type the command " copy run start" in the cli of the gateway

you can achieve this with putty connection manager where you can add the login details and three commands that the manager will input automatically , if you already have the connections set up in putty they will simply exist when you install and run connection manager.

thank you but can you please explain with more details,
i can login to every GW with putty and save the configuration , but i have 200 GW it is take a lot of times .
no avaya outil to save the configuration permanently ?

connection manager is a piece of free ware that works with putty , from connection manager you will then need to set up the user name and password fields then you can set up three further commands.

This will take some time to set up initially but when done its pretty simple to keep on top of , ASA can not do this in a scheduled task as you will need to go shell then ssh to the gateways ..... somebody else may have a linux script .. but i still think you would need to set up the initial connection manually.

Are you trying to backuo up the configuration to a central repository?

Kiwi Cattools will backup all types of network devices including Avaya gateways. It needs some wteaks to get it fully working
