Hey Guys,

So I have a customer that needed a new controller, other one wouldn't power on anymore. I swapped out the controllers and got them up and working, the only thing is now I cant seem to connect via manager anymore, I keep getting a "Network Error- Failed to log into IP Office". I have tried to different releases of Manager and I still cannot connect. Any ideas? I cant connect via WAN port wither, I get the same message.

manager too old? wrong password (default security settings)?

New controller at 9.0, passwords are all still at default and security settings will not allow me to get in either. I get the same response when trying to get into the security settings and they are default too.

The system will often corrupt the passwords just for fun, connect the DTE lead and type at-securityresetall, then enter the MAC when prompted, then once it says OK try access again :)

What if I cant connect via DTE? Im trying to do all of this remotely for they are in another state.

If you have the correct address (in same LAN as PC you're using) and rebooting doesn't help, then you have no other option really :)

Yeah its so weird, I can see the system when that window pops up and it has the correct IP address, I can ping it fine. I just cant connect to it. I have had this issue once before and reloading a new version of manager worked, its not in this case so I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue at one time.

I have 3, 8.1, 9.0 and 9.1 and none of them get me in. My controller is set at 8.1 (85)

Pity, if on 9.x you could used webmanager.
Did you try Administrator/password?
can you access security settings? security/securitypwd

Yes I have tried all default passwords and within security settings as well.

I had this happen with an R9.0. I had to access via the DTE and reset the passwords. Once reset, I could access again.

Last thing you could try is open a recent config then try an offline send config, has worked in the past (way back) :)

I will try that now and let you know...
