Sorry this has been driving us nuts it's prob one of the worst VM's we have had but we have been asked can a user upload a WAV file as a personal greeting or can they send to us and we administer it cannot find anything on this so we think it's a no any pointers greatly appreciated

You can do it but it's quite convoluted.

In C:\UC\Prompts\Personal\1 you will see a whole bunch of .vox files. These are the personal greetings.

First you should record a personal greeting as a placeholder and find which file was created at the time the greeting was recorded (eg: "AACE9875-8850-4CD4-9325-D8C7F3A2DA8B.vox").

You then need to convert the wav file to either ulaw or alaw depending on how IX Messaging was configured. Save it and then overwrite that file.

The custom wav should then be live as the personal greeting.
