My NMS E1 card is in-serv state.

I have assign the channel service and number service to chantst. When i try to call to the channel it get silent, which step i miss out, need help....
 
Have you assigned chantest to any channels?

assign service chantest to chan all
 
I did it, but still can't get any system default test prompt
 
Have you assigned the channel extension numbers to the channels ?

assign phone <phone_range> to chan <chan_range>

Also, are you using the *DNIS_SVC service? If you have assigned Number Services to chantst, then you have to assign the channels to service *DNIS_SVC. Number services also only work if you have ASAI configured, because they collect ANI and DNIS from the switch and decides on the service based on the called/calling numbers in the list.
