Hi,

I;m having problem with my AVAYA IPO500. Incoming calls to auto attendant, while auto attendant is greeting and the caller hangs up or disconnects the call, on system status, the call is not disconnected. It is still connected which will result for fallback extension to answer (ghost ring).

I have used audacity to gather data:
FREQUENCY (PEAK) : 448HZ
ON: 360ms
OFF: 340ms

I have set the said parameters under busy tone detection>Single Frequency but still it is not working.

Can you help me on my issue? Or do I have to adjust other parameters for Busy Tone Detection to take effect?

The line provider needs to turn on disconnect clear/reliable disconnect or whatever they use to describe it, set your system to 150ms lower than their setting. Busy tone detection is best left as default for your region usually, but it's a last ditch setting and doesn't always work, disconnect clear really needs to be turned on. :)

Thanks @amriddle01.

On this case, I have brought another unit to test their analogue trunk line. On my unit, busy tone detection works normally. I think I have issue in version. The unit i brought is 9.0.0.829 while the other PBX is 9.1.336.1. Or it may be CPU problem i guess so...
