Is there a way to disable the internal paging tones before you intercom or page a specific telephone?

Not that I am aware of. It is an internal tone that is used for everything from joining a conference to the default 'Tone' if you donn't have MOH.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

I have done something like this years ago.. I created a panic button on a phone, that if a user pressed it, it would do a silent page to a group of security officers, and the threat on site would not be aware of the page.

I do remember going into the vmpro sound directory, locating the wav file and replacing it with a silent wav fie.. I just can't recall the exact process.
