Avaya Ip office with Rightfax TR1038 T1 Fax board

I have a client who purchased a Captaris TR1038 ISDN fax board and is trying to integrate with Avaya IP Office. Does anyone have docmentation on how to set this up> Avaya Pre-sale referred me to Voicemail Pro install docs from R3.1 but the example is using an analog station port for connectivity to an analog port on the fax server device. I've tried forwarding a virtual ext to dial using the trunk group of the PRI card configured in the Ip Office but no joy yet. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Both systems have to talk the same language so that the protocol will work. One has to be CPE and the other CO. Look at your fax card docs for a setup for National 2 protocol NI2.
