Hello I have Avaya IP Office Manager 500 V2,

I need help I already recorded manually a greeting message by pressing *8101 AA:Answer, but now I get a new .wav pre-recorded file and did the following

1- Convert it to c.11
2-change extension to .clp
3-upload .clp file into System SD | Dynamic | LVMAIL

but I am still hearing the old manual greeting welcome message, what is the problem?

Did you select the greeting itself in the AA?

I find the easiest way to do that, is hold the phone up to a laptop / spearkers and play the recording down the phone. :)

I didnt understand you how to do that,I thought if I just apload .clp file it will work after 5 mins automatically,

the incoming routing is assigned to AA,

Thanks.

First make sure the wav file is the correct format, then using Manager select File > Advanced > LVM Greeting Utility
Browse to the wav file for the Input file, give it a name for the Output file (which will end in .c11,), set the Output File Type to Auto Attendant, and give it a Recording Name (and I would use the same name that you are using for the Output File without the .c11), leave the Format on G711. Don't change the file extension when done, leave it as .c11

In the Auto Attendant, under Recording Name, next to where it displays Short code *8101, click the drop down arrow, then type in the Recording Name that you used above.

Upload the file to SYSTEM > DYNAMIC > LVMAIL > AAG

Be consistent - if your auto attendant is called Answer, make the output file Answer.c11 and make the recording name Answer - keeps everything easy to remember

When uploaded perform a SD card shutdown is SSA and after shutdown start the SD Card, wait a few minutes untill IP Office has read all th VM files and the prompt will be active.

I like that tip.

There's no point going anywhere. You'll always be here. Try it and see.
