Hi!

Sorry, this might be a very easy question...
I am a newby and today I implemented a UC Module into my Ip Office an played around with Autoattendants for the first time. It all works great, but...

at the end of an attendant-menu-line, (or after timeout in a que) I want to forward the caller to the groups-general delivery mailbox.
I have uploaded a nice wav file (studio-recording) with the announcement for that mailbox.
If I integrate that file, it is played but after playing my file, there comes the avaya standard intuity announcement (something like: "this call is being answered by Avaya Ip Ofice blabla") in addition to my file. That's way to long and redundant, too. I want the VMPro just to play MY recording and then the beep, no standard announcement in between...

Thanks a lot for your assistance!!

Jan

Replace the Leave Mail action with a Listen action. Use your greeting as one of the Listen action's entry prompts.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks a lot! Finally I found out myself...

I copied that recording into the folder /opt/vmpro/Greetings
named it groupname_1 and than activeted that greeting.
So now it is the recorded file with no avaya blabla and then the beep to enable the caller to leave a message on the general delivery mailbox.

Maybe your aproach was simpler, sizbut, but at least, this is doing

Thanks!
Jan

The disadvantage (for me) of a standard maibox is that a caller can perform some actions after leaving a message and don't disconnect, with a listen action that is impossible.
Try it, speak a message and after speaking just say nothing and wait, you'll see what I maen.
