Avaya IP Office paging with a station port-what paging interface works best 4

I have a customer that we installed an Avaya IPO last week. We were using a trunk port for paging and it worked great with a Bogen UTI-1. However, they would like the use of Simultaneous Page through the phones as well.
So we switched it to a station port on the IPO so we could create a paging group and put all the phones in it with the analog station as well. The UTI would not work, no matter what I changed. I played with the short code, Dial paging vs. Dial extn. Also the extension settings with the "paging speaker" setting versus the "IVR Port" setting. Could not get it to work. Bogen tech support finally told me that it would not work because the IPO analog port only gives 40V of ring voltage and the UTI needs at least 62. So I called Viking and they recommended the FXI-1 which is billed as a "use virtually any station port" to page to a loudspeaker paging system. Works, but you get 1 ring over the loudspeaker when you dial the paging short code, plus you hear a fizzle out sound after you hang up and it disconnects. Viking then says, that the FXI-1 isn't answering fast enough and I need to order the RAD-1A instead. I need someone who has made this work to recommend what inexpensive device will work on a station port in between the paging system and the IPO.
After the paging interface is a Bogen WMT-1A matching transformer and then it goes to an old Optimus MPA-50 radio shack amplifier that they had before that they want to reuse. From the WMT-1A it goes to the Microphone input to page out.
Any suggestions? Please help, I don't want to order something else that doesn't work. Thank you in advance.

No problem smokinjoe, I blame myself for not catching that. But I figured it was something in the config since the paging equipment worked fine if I set it up with a trunk port. Also since I set up the station port and resistor just as TouchtoneTommy's PDF said to.
I appreciate the feedback, when your banging your head against the wall, it's good to have company...lol

I see forwarding activated with no destination all the time. Here in the UK most non local/national landline calls start 01XXXXX etc, so when somebody fat fingers the dialling (more prevalent with DECTS as they dial with their thumbs) they dial *01 by accident and activate forward unconditional, after that point they can't receive any calls as they just go nowhere. If it happens too much I just delete the *01 code as nobody uses it in practice :)
