Avaya IP Office 500V2 Bridged Call Appearance for a Counter Path BRIA 4

Looking for help to configure a bridged call appearance on a Avaya 9608 phone for a customer who is using a Counter Path Bria 4 softphone. The IPO is 9.1.7 on IP500V2.

A user appearance works normally and will show status of when the customer is making a call on his Counter Path Bria softphone. However I can't get the functionality of the a bridged appearance to work on the 9608.

You can't do that, SIP devices don't have that functionality
