Hi, Hope everybody is having a good day. Having an an issue with Avaya Ip Office 500 V2. On all 3 Cards Number 9 & 12 are blinking red lights But the lights are also steady green.

In System Status i have to 2 alarms. Trunk out of service on Line 13 Port number:9 and Line 16 Port number:12.

Nothing happens when I click clear all button.

Any help is very much appreciated

what have YOU done thus far to troubleshoot this issue

I removed all the phone lines that were not being used with any phones. I also turned off and on the the system. Nothing else was done

try powering down the phone system and reseat those cards, also if connect to pots lines test for dial tone

How do I reset the cards ? There are 5 Lines, I accidentally cut one of the lines. DO you think that's causing the issue?

By "On all 3 Cards Number 9 & 12 are blinking red lights But the lights are also steady green. " do you mean they blink red every 5 seconds. If yes then that's normal. If no then describe the blinking better.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

power down back out card and reinsert and power back up

Thanks Joe2938 will give that a try later today.

Sizbut - I looked at it again and i noticed. ALl the lights are steady green. And then every few seconds on cards 1 and 2 only port 1 blinks red, and on the last 2 cards ports 1 and 9 blink red.

Sorry about original typo.

I agree with sizbut. I think what you're describing is not an issue at all. There are blinking light that appear to be red but the blinking is normal.

Do you have lines plugged into those ports? If not your going to have those alerts in system status because they don't exist....

The lights blinking are probably the normal lights saying its on and working :
What actually is your issue?

if its in red it will not clear just as an fyi but sizbut is correct normal operation

It's actually amber lights blinking, it only looks red in contrast to the green, reboot the system and you'll see the difference however it's usually port 1 and 9 that blink, port 1 to show the main card is ok and 9 for the trunk daughter board :)

Start a new thread without the LED confusion, the LEDs are telling you that the hardware is all okay, the LEDs are not the issue.

Start a thread where you state very clear what type of lines and which line ports are actually connected. Meanwhile SSA won't clear alarms when the alarm is still valid (ongoing).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

okay will do. Thank you everybody for the help !
