Avaya IP Office 500, Bogen C60 Paging Question

Hi,

We are installing an Avaya IP Office 500 phone system and are having problems with getting the paging system to work. We have a Bogen C60 amplifier. We have been searching the Internet for documents / tips on how to get this to work.

Can any of you please share how you have your paging systems setup? Are you using the trunk or analog ports? Do you have the UPAM or WMT-1A?

Would you be able to share pictures of your setup?

I know this isn't black magic but it's not easy when you're doing it the first time!

You could use either analog trunk or station port. We generally use station port so external paging can be included with other stations in a single page group. We use WMT-1A isolation transformer. If you are a Business Partner, there is an older tech doc that specifically describes the steps to configure - check the knowledge base. Or, if you're the end user, have your local Business Partner configure this for you. It's a ten minute thing for those who have appropriate training and experience.
