As there is no specific thread for the INDex System, I hope someone here can help me. I have been asked to do some extension swaps and need a walkthru on how this is done. Our regular programmer is on holiday and as always an urgent request for extension swaps has come thru. I can loginto the INDex and work through the admin menu. I just need the specifics of how to do the swaps.

Thanks to anyone that can help

Here is a link that may help you. It is the administration book from Avaya. One other thing that may help you. If these sets are the same type and you just need to swap them with each other. Type in "ch sta xxxx" xxxx being the extension number. Change the port to X. Change the other station to what the first extensions port number was and do the same on the other. This may need wiring done if one is a digital and the others analog. Anyway this should give you start.

ASA 2.0 allows you to do extension swaps without the X-Port trick.
