You listened and made the feature better. No more transfering calls to a live speakerphone (unless you want to). I even like how you changed HFANS to triple-beep instead of one ring. It's been a long time coming, but you did a great job. I no longer have to cringe when I have to put in large systems where the receptionist has to voice announce transfer.

Bravo!

Now you're teasing...my download now 5Hr 25 min to go..come on speed up :)

Is this change documented somewhere? If it is true, they've fixed my largest pet peeve with IPOffice...

It's true Mforrence The only draw back that I can see, and this is a MINOR,TRIVIAL issue,is if the call is transfered in this manner, and the target picks up the handset and the user transfers the call, it still rings and is not immediately sent to the handset. SO what! It is light years ahead of where it was.

I echo what you say, This was the single biggest oversight on IPO and now it is gone.

Funny thing is that many of our IPOffice customers have come from Executone IDS system - and that is exactly how IDS handled transfer. If recipient lifted handset during voice announce phase, once call was released, the recipient had to cycle the switchhook to get the outside caller. It allowed recipient to control when and if the outside call was connected.
