So, what's the trick to getting this running? I've got my FQDN's and XMPP domain set, I can login with Communicator but I always get "Unable to connect to OneX Portal server Presence and IM will be unavailable". I can login to the OneX portal just fine.

What am I missing here? TLS didn't make any difference either.

New England Communications

Did you see it inside the SIP message? If 1XP is on Windows it can be a firewall issue or 1XP used a certificate the client computer doesn't trust.

Hi, i can see the right IP Adress in the "onex-server=" Line. Firewall on Windows Server 2012 R2 is disabled and the no Cert. are imported to the Windows 1XP.

Obviously it is of eminent relevance, that I this, what you celeprate, not optimally effective assume, since the integrate of you in the communicative system as code related terms with me no explosive associations in mental-empirical reproduction process of the mind.

Did anybody see the message where is being stated that there is no more default XMPP group?
Create one and add users in to it.
Then try again.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Odd I just created a new Server Edition Demo version on 9.1.4. Did nothing else except setup a user and make it a Power user. I am able to login to communicator and get presence without issue.

Since it is a simple XMPP connection you can try to login to 1XP with a free XMPP client like pidgin (also available as portable). It will show you about certificates as well. Try if it is possible to connect.

Hi,

Peter, did this: creat new XMPP Group in Manager, but this don´t solve the Problem.
Pepp, i think this is only a Windows Server Issue. With App.Server i don´t have this Problems.
Floh, thanks for Posting. Will know it for future use ;-)

This Issue i have, since today, with two customers. Both with Windows 2012 R2 Server for 1XP. Called than a friendly Partner (also with 9.1.4 and Windows) and let them try - same thing.
Make a new SR and what can i say: avaya know the Problem and will deliver a CP for this. In the known SR, a partner make a upgrade to 9.1.4. Hopefull it works - will wait now for the CP....

let you know

Didn't install 1XP on Windows for over one year... I always get the customer to provide a virtual machine to host an AppServer.

ask and we shall receive...

Just finished upgrading my own ipo and appserver :)

But where did you find Technical Bulletin 185 ??
Its not in the Knowledgebase and nowhere on support.avaya.com

Can you share it?

the tech bulletins are always just to the right of the link to download the software, before you click where it takes to to the PLDS, look to the right

what do you mean?
What do I miss?

You go to support.avaya.com and log in
then click 'Support by product' 'downloads'
find 'IP Off' to select IP Office and choose release 9.1
Sort the list by date.
Now we see a long list of links. A lot of screen real estate is wasted for this. To the left and right of this list, there is just a lot of white space.
Click the link named 'IP Office 9.1 Service Pack 5 - Administration, 9.1.x'
This will bring us to next page with 3 links and a bit more detailed info, including: "Further information can be found in IP Office Technical Bulletin 185."
However, there is no link to any TB.
Clicking one of the links will bring you to PLDS.

It's allways the same.
It takes a week for the TB to be available. E-Mail notification is even later.
It should be on Knowledgebase right when the downloads are made available.

its on the page that has the 3 links to download the admin lite, bins files, and full admin

Thanks for the screenshot.
Beleve me, I do not see the 'Related Documents' link where the TB is.
Tried it with Firefox and Edge. Nothing. With IE, I can see the link.
Worth a ticket with ITSS.

I can see it in Edge, Firefox, IE and Chrome!

Checked it on 3 or 4 machines and all show it, looks like it is a problem at your end.

Indeed, shows on every device I have in the office and at home, not a site issue :)

Thank you all!
A ticket is open now. Let's wait and see.
I have a new notebook since a week. Old was Win7, new is Win10 and all installed from scratch. But I had the same problem since ever.
